Schedule Compass · setup
A few quick choices. You can change any of them later under “My setup, routine & look.”
Not into flowers and script? Natural and Bold are clean and simple.
Pick as many as you need. Anything you don't pick stays out of the way.
Add each course and its credits. Study time is planned from your credits: about 2 hours a week per credit (you can change that later). Online class with no set time? Leave the days blank.
Turn on only what you want. You can change these any time.
Add your birthday and you'll get a birthday message with a look back at your year.
Snap a photo of your school's academic calendar and your planner will mark days off, registration deadlines and term dates. Or load a calendar file (.ics) from Google or Outlook. You can do this now or later.
your week
If your print window asks, choose the same direction (portrait for vertical, landscape for horizontal).
Police, fire, EMS, nursing and other rotating schedules. Pick your pattern and a start date, and every shift fills in for you, week after week. Trade a shift or take a day off any time.
One per line: a day and a time. Day names mean the week shown above, or use a date like 10/14. Anything else on the line becomes its name. You can paste straight from a work scheduling app.
e.g. Wed 7am-12pm · Thu 1:00-6:30 PM · Fri 10/16 game night 7-10pm
On a shift rotation? Time off works too: Kelly day Oct 14 · PTO 10/20-10/24 · funeral leave Nov 3 · overtime Fri
A shift, a trip, an appointment, a study group: anything with a time.
Tap × to remove something. Classes and your school day live under “My setup, routine & look.”
Take a photo or screenshot of your school's academic calendar. The planner reads it and finds days off, registration and application deadlines, and term dates. You check everything before it's added. Reading a photo needs an internet connection the first time.
Copy the dates from your school's website or PDF and paste them here, one per line (e.g. “Nov 26–29 Thanksgiving break, no classes”).
Uncheck anything that's wrong, fix a date or name, then add them.
| Add | Date | To | Type | What |

Days off hide your classes that day. Deadlines show up on your week and in “Coming up.”
Bring your calendar in: export it as a calendar file (.ics) and load it here. Your events show up in your week and the planner works around them.
Google Calendar (on a computer): Settings → Import & export → Export. Unzip the download and pick your calendar's .ics file.
Outlook.com: Settings → Calendar → Shared calendars → Publish a calendar → copy the ICS link, open it, and save the file. Outlook app: File → Save Calendar.
Send your plan out: download this week's plan (classes, work, study, walks) and school dates as a file, then import it into Google Calendar (Settings → Import & export → Import) or Outlook (Add calendar → Upload from file).
Add the people you plan with. Then pick who each plan is for on “Add plans.” Their plans show on your week in their color, and only the ones you're going to are planned around. Share one person's schedule, or everyone's, from Share.
Give each chore a name and who does it. Pick the days it's due, or leave the days blank for every day. Check them off right on your week.
Pick as many as you need. Anything you don't pick stays out of the way.
Extras
Your planner builds every school day around these times, and plans homework time after school.
Credits set your weekly study time. Class times repeat every week; add the term's first and last day so they stop after the term. Online course with no set time? Leave the days blank.
Every day is built around these. On early-start days it wakes you earlier and moves bedtime up the night before, so you still get your sleep.
Changes the whole planner, including printouts.
Everything saves on this device and nothing is sent anywhere. Save a backup now and then so you can move your planner to a new computer.
Saves a picture of this day for your Lock Screen. In Photos, open it, tap Share, then Use as Wallpaper. Make a new one whenever your day changes.
