Getting started

The first time you open Schedule Compass, it asks for your name, look, color, sleep routine and courses. After that it plans your week for you. Add work shifts under Add shifts & plans, where you can paste them straight from a work scheduling app.

Locations and drive time

Each course, shift or plan can have a Where and a Drive time. Your week then shows "Drive to …" before it and "Drive home" after, wakes you early enough, and keeps study time out of your drives. Tap a place to open it in Maps. If you leave drive time blank, the app uses your usual travel time from settings.

How study time is set

Your study goal comes from your credits. It's 2 hours a week per credit by default, and you can change that under My courses, routine & look. Study time is spread across the days that have room, with a daily limit you control.

Reading my school calendar from a photo

During setup, or under School dates & calendars, choose a photo or screenshot of your academic calendar. You'll check each date before it's added. The first time you do this you'll need an internet connection so the text reader can download. A clear, straight-on photo works best, and you can always paste the dates as text instead.

Google Calendar and Outlook

To bring in a calendar, export it as an .ics file and choose Load a calendar file. To send your plan out, choose Download this week (.ics) and import that file into Google Calendar or Outlook.

Sharing your day or week

On My week, tap Share. Pick today, one day or the whole week, then tap Text it or Email it. You can edit the message before you send it.

Moving to a new computer

Your planner is saved only on this device. Choose Save a backup, copy the file to your new computer, then choose Load a backup.

Printing

Open My week and use Print. You can print it horizontally or vertically, with writing lines, a full notes page, or your handwritten notes.
