Be the first to know when new Echo and Helix books come out, plus local story-time and market dates. Written for parents, sent rarely and kindly.
Echo's next adventure follows her from the couch to the vet's office — a gentle, reassuring story for kids who get nervous about check-ups, built from the same real-life trips that inspired the series.
Spanish and Mandarin editions are on the way. The story is with real human language specialists in both languages, not machine translation.

Echo and Helix are real dogs — here's a little bit about the breeds behind the books.
Where they're from: Jindos are named for Jindo Island, off the coast of South Korea, where the breed has lived for centuries.
Size: Jindos are medium-sized dogs — usually 18 to 22 inches tall and 35 to 60 pounds full grown.
Super smart: Jindos are quick learners and can pick up even tricky tricks and agility courses with ease.
Extremely loyal: Jindos bond closely with their families and are known as some of the most devoted dogs of any breed.
Clean like a cat: Jindos groom themselves and keep their own coats tidy, so they need very little bathing.
Long life: A healthy Jindo can live 12 to 15 years.
Echo is a real Jindo, rescued from Korea — the same journey that inspired her stories.
Ancient breed: Chihuahuas are one of the oldest breeds in the Americas, with roots going back to ancient Mexico.
National symbol: The Chihuahua is considered a national symbol of Mexico, named after the Mexican state of Chihuahua.
Tiny size: Chihuahuas are one of the smallest dog breeds in the world, usually under 6 pounds full grown.
Big personality: Despite their small size, Chihuahuas are bold, alert, and full of confidence — a huge personality in a tiny body.
Great watchdogs: Chihuahuas are very vocal and will let you know right away when someone's at the door.
Long life: Chihuahuas often live 14 to 16 years — one of the longest lifespans of any dog breed.
